($11.95) The first new release of music by the late guitar master, Danny Gatton is finally completed.

This is a scorching live set from June 10th and 11th,1988 at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. This set features the legendary pedal steel guitarist Buddy Emmons, who also collaborated with Gatton on Redneck Jazz Explosion, (to be reissued late summer 04’). This is also the only Gatton release to feature Danny’s jazz unit known as “The Funhouse”.

Danny called the horn-driven Funhouse “the most stimulating musical experience I’ve ever had” and that comes through on this album, drawn from performances on both nights.

Songs: Blues on the Half Shell, Momasita, Off the Top, A Train, Land of Make Believe, Smoke and Mirrors, Pretty Blue, Red Label, Well You Needn't/ Rock Candy and Harlem Nocturne
